W&W wish list - a weekly curated roundup of products we love..

Ok, hands up it wasn’t me who discovered this week’s first pick, it was my teenage daughter. It’s the ‘Unicorn’ Lip paint from Barry M. For anyone who the ColorSport magic lipsticks from the 80’s, this is basically a revamped version. The idea is still the same, the lipstick (or lip paint as they are now called) magically changes colour on contact with the alkaline of your lips to produce a personalised hue. There are three shades to choose from Genie, Neptune and Unicorn, which all give varying depths of pink. My favourite was the Neptune which gave a slightly darker pink tone than the others. Because they are essentially a ‘stain’ the wear time is pretty good and I found that just a slick of lip balm over the top during the course of the day was enough to keep it looking good. At £4.99 each (on a 3 for 2 offer at Superdrug at the moment too) they are a good deal cheaper than the Lipstick Queen lip stain in Hello Sailor which comes in at around £22.

The first series of the brilliant Blue Planet wildlife documentary series, presented and narrated by the wonderful David Attenborough was staple Sunday night viewing in our house. Now with a second series this beautiful book has been released to accompany it. With over 200 breath-taking photographs Blue Planet II shows how each of the oceans of our planet are connected.  New discoveries of species and habitats are documented alongside the exploration of science and technology of the Ocean enterprise to understand of ocean life is adapting in the ever-changing natural world.

Emma Willis is a big style inspiration here at Watson & White. Whether we swooning over her amazing hair or coveting her latest chic but wearable outfit, she has an attainable glamour that is in essence comprised of simple pieces. In her collaboration with Next she has curated a collection of enviable fashion staples. Our favourite is the Monochrome Check coat coming in at £75 it is a classic winter coat with pocket detailing in this season’s must have check fabric.

There’s something decadent about having a big lazy breakfast and whilst the ‘Full English’ with a mug of tea is hard to beat the addition of potatoes is a definite win in my book. The ‘Full English Potato Cake’ (I know!!) may take little more preparation than usual but it is well worth the effort.

Etsy is a site where you can happily lose hours of your life especially if you're searching for jewellery or art. I recently stumbled on the Here Your Heart Will Be shop whilst looking for a necklace (I’m easily distracted). Katherine Blower is a West Midlands based illustrator and designer. Her digital collage work is influenced by nature and Scandinavian design.

Her Etsy shop mostly stocks her greeting cards but there are a far few of her fabulous prints too. This A3 sized ‘Autumn Woods’ Print is my top pick.

My old deputy headmistress at school was a dramatic and eccentric woman; with a blonde beehive, sooty eyes and hands full of oversized costume rings. I was always fascinated by her jewellery. As she gesticulated wildly in assembly her rings would clatter. She would tell us stories about where each ring had come from and loved to demonstrate how her ‘pill box’ ring worked to us, slightly terrified children. So, when I saw this ring on the ‘Rock my Vintage’ website I immediately thought of Mrs G. The bold 1960’s style and the Tiger Spot Shell stone would have been right up her street, as it is mine.  Available online now, it is reduced from £33 to £20.
