It’s that weird time of year in between Christmas and New Year when you’re not really ever sure of what day it is, what you’re supposed to be doing, you’re eating cheese and Bombay mix as a main course and haven’t dressed normally (you’re outfit choices are either pj’s or full on glam) for days.
If you haven’t braved the sales yet don’t worry we’ve rounded up a few picks to quell any desire to venture outside, so stay in your pj’s a bit longer.
There’s not much to say about these shoes really, the colours, the style, they are beautiful, you need them. They are, unsurprisingly selling out fast so be quick either online or instore.
Ok, so this pick isn’t exciting or glamourous at all BUT at this time of year I like to have a big clear out and generally try and organise my life (a bit). I always start with my wardrobe. A serious shoe habit needs taming and on the pretence, that I’ll get rid of some I no longer wear (I won’t) I’m going to sort them, pair them up and store them properly in these. AND if I buy an extra one then there maybe space to hide a new purchase or two.
ELF products are always reasonably priced whether in sale or not but these are ridiculously cheap. Although I’m not a huge fan of their foundations or concealers, personally I swear by their blushers and bronzers especially the matt versions. This eye palette is brilliant too and has rave reviews. The ELF website constantly has special offers and free gifts so it’s worth subscribing to their newsletters. Alternatively, ELF is stocked in some Superdrug stores which is great if you want to colour match before ordering online.
I was luckily enough to get some lovely jewellery for Christmas (I say lucky but really, I have been bombarding my husband and kids with links, tagging them on Instagram and Facebook since November). This ring from Oliver Bonas wasn’t on my radar so I’ll be treating myself to this beauty.
Part two of organising my life comes courtesy of the fabulous company Papier they have a 15% off everything offer on at the moment and these personalised diaries are just gorgeous.
Mango has really upped their game in the past few seasons and their sales are always worth looking at. This dress reminds me of the beautiful Audrey Tatou in the film Priceless. It’s perfect, timeless and under £40. Just add a red lip and you’re all set for New Year’s Eve.
